We provide expert Autism, ADHD and mental health assessments for children, young people and adults.
Our team of experienced professionals uses evidenced-based tools to deliver accurate diagnosis and personalised recommendations. We also support individuals and families throughout the process.
We understand that Autism, ADHD and mental health are not a single condition and no two individuals who reach any diagnosis are the same. Therefore, our approach is always person-centred we will work with you to develop an individualised care plan for you to thrive following diagnosis.
Meet Ang
Angela Jackson is a mental health nurse. She first met Toni when they were both mental health nursing lecturers at the University of Cumbria. She is also a director and co-founder of Mind Map Focus.
With extensive experience in adult mental health services, Angela is passionate about providing person centred support for neurodivergent individuals and their families. Her personal experiences include volunteering with the Scottish Government where she sits on the health and well-being board as part of the Diverse Experience Advisory Panel.
Angela is interested in women’s mental health, social Inequalities and public health. She has lived experience of mental health and neurodiversity.
Meet Toni
Toni Lancaster is a registered mental health nurse and works as a Lecturer in Mental Health nursing at The University of Cumbria on an ad hoc basis.
As a founder and director of MindMapFocus she is dedicated to providing a comprehensive assessment and interventions service for ADHD, Autism, and Mental Health.
With over 25 years experience in mental health nursing working mostly with children, young people and their families and caregivers, Toni has a broad knowledge in neurodiverse clinical practice.
She also has lived experience of caring for a loved one with neurodivergent challenges.
Our responsibility to you
We have professional registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
We have experience in providing up to date ASD /ADHD and mental health assessments and planning for the future.
We also have a responsibility to keep up with current research into and actively involved in this.
We have a ethical responsibility to your wellbeing and keep up to date with current guidelines.
Our priority is helping you and your loved ones. Therefore we only use evidenced-based approaches that follow the current guidelines from the National Institute for Health and Social Care. (NICE).
