Information about Diagnostic and Assessment Services
We have the relevant level of qualification and experience. All of our clinicians are fully qualified and trained professionals with the NMC – Nursing and Midwifery council.
We are happy to listen to any enquiries from a concerned partner, family member or friend and help and advise a plan going forward.
However, if the enquiry is regarding an individual of 18 years or over we will need to speak to them directly, for the purpose of consent, prior to booking an appointment. we will need to speak to over the age of 18 before booking them an appointment.
You can self-refer to our service if you prefer to pay privately without initial GP letter, however we may need further medical information if appropriate to the assessment information gathering process.
If you are using private medical insurance, you may need a referral letter from your GP to make sure all your fees are covered.
GP referral is required for NHS Right to Choose funding applications. Please see NHS Right To Choose Information on our website including a template letter and guidance for requesting this funding via GP services.
Our phone lines are open between 09:00 and 17:00pm Monday to Friday. You can contact us via email to request a call back outside of those hours, and we will call you back when we reopen.
Our clinicians can offer evening and weekend appointments if preferred.
When you contact us, you will speak with a fully qualified mental health nurse practitioner who will listen to your issues and discuss your situation. Depending on outcome of this , we can recommend a further assessment and treatment plan.
Our office is based in Lancaster and we currently cover the area’s of Lancashire and Cumbria.
