FREE initial 15 minute evaluation with nurse practitioner via telephone/TEAMS.

Developmental and further information gathering appointment from parents/carers via telephone/TEAMS with nurse practitioner.

ASC initial questionnaires will be sent to parents/carers and school/pre-school via email.

Step 4

One of the nurse practitioners will arrange a face to face school/pre-school observation visit.

Step 5

The ADOS-2 assessment will be completed face to face with child/young person and parents/carer’s and two qualified assessors.

Assessment report completed and provided to parents/carer’s.

Step 7

If diagnosis of ASC present a follow-up appointment will be arranged within two weeks to discuss next steps and provide support via telephone/TEAMS.

Further support can be provided following this if needed via parent/carer support groups facilitated by MindMapFocus.

We will liase with fellow professionals if required such as paediatricians, psychologists and speech and language therapists as part of the required multi-disciplinary teamwork approach for diagnosis.
